Previously: The group were separated following their apparent deaths as they struggled with the realisation that they had each been resurrected by a cause that was currently unknown to them. Charlie found himself inside of a hospital, where he had been told lies about being asleep for billions of years and given the power of immortality. The Doctors of this hospital wiped his mind after he realised what they were doing to him, as they desperately tried to find a way to make him forget what he had learnt. Elsewhere, Rani and Clyde witnessed the scene of the explosion at Coal Hill Academy where they met Tanya, who had been taken in by the police for questioning. In order to stop the Police from figuring out about events involving the Governors, Tanya told the police Rani and Clyde were responsible for the explosion. Also, Matteusz discovered that Ram was planning on committing suicide, and was ready to pull the trigger.

Ram: I’ve lost everything that I hold dear to me. My dad, April, even my own life, really. I now know what happens once you die, and I know that now, I’m going to get some much needed peace. No afterlife, no worries, no anything. Just eternal rest. Now I don’t mind whether you stay here or not, but I am not letting you stop me from doing this.

Matteusz: Well I am going to stop you. I’m not going to let you do this, Ram.

Ram: You’re going to have to, Matteusz. Good luck with stopping the Governors.

Matteusz: Ram-Please-Put the gun down-Please-Just don’t do it-

Ram: Goodbye, Matteusz. Say goodbye to Tanya for me, if she’s still alive.

Ram prepared to pull the trigger. Another drug dealer approached holding a gun. Ram shot him, before shooting him twice more. He was dead.

Ram: I had a bit of trouble with drug dealers earlier when I woke up. I killed them all though. If I’m going to die, then I want to bring other people down with me.

Matteusz: That’s not a good way to look at it. And anyway, maybe that was a signal for you to not take your life and stop all of this now.

Ram: I told you there was no way you could stop me from doing this.

Matteusz: You’re not alone, Ram. Although on days like this it may seem like it, you’re not. And I think this was a way to convince you to stop all of this.

Ram: But I’ve lost April. I’ve lost everyone I care about.

Matteusz: Then take that out on the Governors, not yourself.

Ram: I’ll get caught out though for murdering these people. I chucked most of the bodies off the bridge above here and into the canal near here.

Matteusz: Look, please, put the gun down and come with me. We’ve got to find out if Tanya is still alive. I mean, if we’re both still standing then Tanya is. Just think of it like this: The angels in the Governor's room snapped your neck, but now you’re back here. Just think of that as a second chance. You’ve been given a second chance. Not many people get those, you know? Quill probably won’t, even though she usually comes up with new ways to surprise and scare us. Just put the gun down, Ram.

Ram: Yeah, I’ll take my rage the fuck out on the Governors.

Matteusz: You do that. The Governors need to be stopped. Now, it seems like we’ve all woken up in random places, but if we head back to Coal Hill Academy, then Tanya may be there waiting for us, and then we can face the Governors together.

Ram: That sounds like a good idea. Let’s go.

Ram drops the gun and Matteusz smiles at him. In “The Hospital of Angels”.

Doctor 1: So we’ve disposed of Katie, the one person that could potentially find out a solution to our problems. How are we meant to sort the flaws out?

Doctor 2: We’re capable of figuring out just what is wrong with the system that we have put into place. Perhaps we should give it one more run. Perhaps it was just some kind of glitch in the system. We’ll try once more to see if the same thing happens again.

Doctor 1: Okay then. Who will take Katie’s place in the procedure?

Doctor 2: You can, Dr Bradshaw. After all, you are the second in command, so it seems only right. I’ll be careful not to release the memory gas on you.

Doctor 1: Yes, we need to stick together this time, Dr Kent.

Dr Bradshaw enters the room. Charlie wakes up.

Charlie: Where am I? Oh my god I’m not in Coal Hill Academy anymore.

Doctor 1: No you aren’t, are you? I’m sorry about that. Let me introduce myself-I’m Dr Bradshaw, and you were brought here by a creature known as a Weeping Angel. It’s alright, no harm will come to you, it’ll just be hard to adjust to the things I’m about to tell you.

Charlie: I don’t know this place. I don’t remember anything that happened to me.

Doctor 1: Don’t worry, your memories will flood back to you shortly. It’ll just take a few moments, that’s all. Welcome to the hospital of Angels.

Charlie: I’m starting to remember what happened. I was in the room with the Governors and I was about to resurrect Quill, before this angel came out of nowhere and then everything just went blank. Am I still on Earth?

Doctor 1: No, you’re not. I’m sorry to tell you that Earth was destroyed 2 billion years ago. You have been asleep for about 7 billion years.

Charlie: 7 billion years? That can’t be possible. I can’t have been-

Doctor 1: I’m sorry, Charlie-It is Charlie, isn’t it? It’s true though. These things, the Weeping Angels, send their victims to all sorts of places, and this is one of the most frequent ones. We have many people in this hospital from all across the galaxy who have been sent here by the Angels. You can meet them later.

Charlie: Yes, I’d like to meet them. Have they all been asleep as long as me?

Doctor 1: It varies. All of them have been asleep for at least 2 billion years, due to the universe ending and all of that. I’m sure you’ll relate to them.

Charlie: I think I’m ready to meet them all now, please.

Doctor 1: Certainly. If you could follow me, I’ll lead you to the other patients.

Dr Bradshaw leads Charlie to another room full of patients.

Doctor 1: May I introduce you to the patients inside of this room. These are Daniel, Tommy, Georgia and Nigel, and this is Charlie. He’s only just woken up.

Daniel: A new one? It’s so nice to have some more company, Charlie.

Charlie: Yeah. I just can’t believe all of this. I can’t believe that we’ve been asleep for seven billion years and that the Earth is destroyed.

Tommy: Are you a human or are you a settler?

Charlie: My planet was destroyed a long, long, long time before Earth was, so I settled down on Earth, thanks to a man called the Doctor.

Nigel: The Doctor? You know the Doctor? I could only dream of meeting the Doctor.

Doctor 1: At least you’ve got some good topics of conversation to discuss for the rest of eternity. Oh, I forgot to mention, in here you can live forever.

Charlie: I can live forever? That’s-That’s-Incredible. I’d like you four to tell me everything that happened after 2019 on Earth. That should fill up the next few days.

Georgia: Oh, there is a lot of interesting history to cover, I assure you.

Doctor 1: Well I’ll leave you for a while. You can talk for a while.

Dr Bradshaw leaves the room.

Charlie: So how long have you been here? How many billion years?

Daniel: Oh my god. You seriously believe their lies don’t you?

Charlie: What do you mean their lies? I haven’t been lied too.

Georgia: Maybe we shouldn’t trust him. Sometimes they throw in curveballs to try and find out how much we know. Maybe he’s one of the curveballs.

Tommy: Yeah, maybe the right thing to do would be to dispose of him.

Charlie: Wait, I don’t mean you any harm.

Nigel: Funny, that’s exactly the sort of thing a spy might say.

Daniel: I trust him. Maybe we should hear him out. See what he has to say.

Charlie: I’ve only just woken up, but I struggle to believe I would have missed 7 billion years of time. I struggle to believe that I would somehow find myself here after being in 2019.

Nigel: They say the angels sent us here but we have no idea what exactly they are. They were the last things we all remember, but we don’t know why they went after us.

Charlie: Well I know exactly why they went after me.

Tommy: Well go ahead, tell us. We’d like to hear everything.

Charlie: There were these people at my school called the Governors, who were plotting some kind of invasion of the planet, with the assistance of the Weeping Angels. I wanted to bring back the only person who stood a chance of stopping them, but I think they realised what I was doing and they wanted to send me as far away as possible.

Georgia: Maybe you’re right, Daniel. Maybe he can be trusted after all.

Tommy: I think we should just be careful what we say. Well, I mean we’ve already said everything we know already. We’re screwed.

Georgia: Well they listen into our conversations, don’t they? There was another one there before, Katie, and now she seems to have been replaced by Dr Bradshaw. I think maybe Katie was an obstacle and they’ve got rid of her somehow.

Nigel: Be warned, Charlie. They do listen into our conversations, and if we know something then they will knock us out and wipe our memories and start again.

Charlie: What is it that they want? What are they doing this for?

Daniel: We have no idea, but they’re experimenting on us. I think it’s to test their new drugs and equipment on us. I don’t know why they’ve selected us, or how those angel things are involved, but we’re here, and we’ve got to stop them.

Georgia: And we’ve got to do it quickly before they find out what we know.

Charlie: How many times have you been knocked out and had your memory wiped?

Daniel: Countless times. We have no idea as we have no recollection of those times.

Tommy: I think that we should go forward with what we planned now, Daniel.

Charlie: What is it that you have planned?

Daniel: As far as we’re aware, we’re the only five people in this hospital. We know the route to escape and get back to Earth in 2019, where we all originate from. We’re going to get out of this place, Charlie, and we’re going to do it now.

The Police arrive at the scene of the explosion at Coal Hill. The police corner Rani and Clyde and place handcuffs on them.

Police: Rani Chandra and Clyde Langer you are under arrest for the explosion of Coal Hill Academy. You have the right to remain silent. If you do say anything, what you say can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult with a lawyer and have that lawyer present during any questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you if you so desire.

Clyde: What the hell are you doing? Get off of us!

Rani: We haven’t done anything! I don’t know what makes you think we did that!

Tanya smiles as the Police drive Rani and Clyde away. Matteusz and Ram are walking.

Matteusz: You do know that if you ever need to talk to someone about what is happening with your life, then I’m always here, and so is Tanya. I know it can get hard, and we have had a very hard day, but I’m always here to talk.

Ram: Once we’ve seen Tanya I just need to go home and sleep. So much has happened today and I just really need to rest. I can’t take any mo-

They see the ruins of Cole Hill Academy

Ram: What the fuck happened to our school?

Matteusz: Just when you thought the day couldn’t get any weirder...It does.

Ram: How did this happen? I bet the Governors did this somehow.

Matteusz: Why would the Governors want to blow up the school? They want the school to start the invasion, don’t they? Unless this is the start of the Invasion.

Ram: I’m going to ask an officer what happened. Excuse me, Officer-

Officer: If you could stay away from the scene sir that would be great. We’ve arrested two suspects already and they have been taken in for questioning.

Ram: So you have no idea what happened? No-one saw these events?

Officer: We don’t know exactly what happened here yet, but as we say we have taken two possible culprits into custody for interrogation to see if they know anything.

Tanya: Ram? Matteusz? Is that you? I’m so pleased to see you!

Ram (Hugs her): You don’t know how pleased I am to see you again!

Tanya: I’ve been so out of my mind worrying about whether the two of you were alive. I remember dying, but I don’t remember being brought back to life, so I thought it might have just been me, and I was worried that I’d lost you.

Matteusz: Don’t worry, we’re still here. Have you seen Charlie?

Tanya: No, I haven’t, and with any luck we won’t have to see him ever again.

Ram: What the fuck happened here then? Did you see anything?

Tanya: I woke up outside of the building, and once I did, it had just exploded. I don’t know how it happened or who was responsible but it was just a shock.

Matteusz: The Police said they took two suspects in for questioning?

Tanya: Yeah, I must apologize about that. I told them everything, and I didn’t want to put them in danger, so I had to get rid of them so they didn’t tell anyone else about the Governors or the Angels or the Resurrection Oils or anything.

Matteusz: Well we can’t just have them arrested for a crime that they didn’t commit. This was obviously the Governors. We’ve got to get them out of there.

Tanya: Well I don’t know how we do that now. They’ve been locked up.

Matteusz: Well as this was your mistake, I suggest that you go over to one of the Police Officers over there and tell them that you know they weren’t guilty.

Tanya: Alright, alright, I will, I suppose. But remember that I’m a suspect too.

Rani and Clyde find themselves in the interrogation room. A Detective enters.

Detective: Hello I’m Detective Knight. I’ve learnt that you are the main culprits for the explosion that occurred earlier this evening. How do you plead?

Clyde: We are not guilty. We did not do this.

Detective: Tell me where you were when the explosion occurred.

Rani: It’s difficult to explain. We were going to take a look around our new school, Coal Hill Academy, and then when we arrived there, it blew up in front of us.

Detective: Why were you wanting to do a day tour around the place at 9.30 at night.

Clyde: 9.30? When we left our house it was 10.30 in the morning.

Detective: 10.30 in the morning? You must have had a long commute over here then.

Rani: I don’t know what happened. It just went from day to night all of a sudden.

Detective: So you’re telling me that the day went quickly? I know it did, honey. The days get quicker and quicker as you age. We need to just do a few admin things for the recording. It is December 7th 2016 at 9.30 PM when we are recording this-

Rani: Sorry, did you say that it was 2016?

Detective: Oh come on. Are you a bit drunk today? Of course it’s fucking 2016.

Clyde: No it isn’t. It’s 2012. I know for a fact that it’s 2012.

Detective: It was 2012...Four years ago, but now it isn’t, okay? I know it was exciting seeing the Olympics come to London but you’ve got to move with the times.

Clyde: I think we have moved with the times. Just a bit too far.

Rani: I know you won’t believe us, Detective, but I think we travelled forward in time today. I know what I can tell you-I’m Rani Chandra, and I used to live on Bannerman Road.

Detective: Rani Chandra? You mean the Rani Chandra who used to be friends with Sarah Jane before she went missing? And you are Clyde Langer I assume? We’ve found you!

Clyde: This is all a bit hard to take in. We must have stepped through time.

Detective: The two of you went missing four and a half years ago. There was a funeral and everything. Everybody thought you were dead. But now you’re here. I’ve found you.

Clyde: I’m guessing you’re a fan or something? Can we please leave now?

Detective: I know that you didn’t blow up that building, and I know you probably stepped through time as you haven’t aged since when you were on the television four and a half years ago. I’m letting you go. You can go off and live your lives.

Rani: Thankyou Officer, that’s very kind. I hope you find the true culprit.

Detective: If it’s aliens, then we’ll surely need your help to bring them down.

Rani: You know where we’ll be. 13 Bannerman Road. Come on, Clyde, we need to go on and live our lives and give Maria and Luke the surprise of their lives.

Daniel grabs a weapon and chops through the hospital door. The group escape. Three Doctors approach. Daniel kicks one against the wall and chops the others heads off.

Daniel: We’ve got no time to lose. We need to get out of here and quickly.

Charlie: So where is the exit? How far away is it from here?

Daniel: Don’t worry, it’s very close. Just follow me.

The group follow Daniel. A Doctor approaches and shoots Tommy, killing him. Georgia kneels down and cries but Nigel pulls her away. They hurry towards an escape hatch.

Daniel: Since you’re the youngest, you can go first, Charlie.

Charlie: Thankyou, Daniel, that truly is an honour.

Charlie crawls through before the others follow him. Daniel closes the door behind him.

Doctor 2: Well at least there was some area of victory. We killed one of them.

Doctor 1: Yes, we did, but now we’ve lost all of them. We should go back to the main operating centre. See if there are any other people we could pick up.

Rani and Clyde arrive at 13 Bannerman Road. They knock on the door. There is no answer. Clyde picks up a flowerpot where there is a key. He unlocks the door.

Rani: It doesn’t seem like four years ago since we last entered this door.

Clyde: That’s because for us it’s only been just over two hours.

Rani: I’m guessing that Luke and Maria aren’t in. They must be off on a case or something. I think we should go up into the Attic. Mr Smith will know.

They enter the attic.

Rani: Mr Smith, I need you.

Mr Smith opens up.

Mr Smith: Good afternoon. Is that Rani Chandra? And Clyde Langer? You are back?

Clyde: Yeah, it seems that you haven’t gotten rid of us after all.

Mr Smith: You left four and a half years ago. How come you haven’t aged?

Rani: You’re meant to be the smartest computer on the planet. You should know that. For you, four and a half years have passed, but for us, only two hours.

K-9: Master Clyde? Mistress Rani?

Clyde: K-9! I only saw you earlier but you must have missed me!

K-9: I could not have missed you as I have no emotions, but it is good to see you, Master Clyde. Master Luke and Mistress Maria have missed you a lot.

Rani: Do you know where they are? Will they be back soon?

K-9: They are out on a late night case which they referred to as the Grace Case. It should not be long before they are back and you will be reunited once more.

Maria: Mr Smith-I-(Looks at Clyde and Rani). Oh my god. Luke! Luke!

Luke: What is it Rani, there’s no need to shou-

Clyde: Is the state of shock making you unable to finish your own sentences.

Maria and Luke hurry over to Clyde and Rani and hug them.

Maria: You have no idea how much we’ve missed you. You’ve been gone for so long.

Luke: Maria wanted to give up the search for you but I knew you were still out there somewhere. What happened? Where did you go?

Clyde: It’s a long story. Well actually, it’s a very short one, to be honest.

Rani: It was four and a half years ago-Well to you it was four and a half years ago but to us it was two hours ago. We left from across the road the day after Sarah Jane’s funeral, and we were all highly emotional. We set off on a new path, preparing for the next stage of our journey at Coal Hill Academy. We were walking, and then suddenly the day became night. The warmth became cold. It was bizarre. Freaky. We arrived at the school and it had blown up. The police even thought we were responsible for blowing it up. We met a girl who seemed to have some sort of involvement with aliens who claimed she had come back to life.

Maria: She’d come back to life? We’re studying another case revolving around resurrection.

Luke: Please, can we just leave the Grace case alone for the time being.

Maria: I’m sorry, it’s just these dots often connect. This could be a connection. Do you know where this girl could be now? We need to find her.

Clyde: I’d rather not bump into her again. She’s not the most pleasant of people.

Rani: I actually think it would be best if we went and had a word with her. I think she was the one who handed us into the police for a crime we didn’t commit. I think she wanted to get rid of us because she didn’t want us to spread the things she told us.

Luke: Guys, come on, let’s have a night of peace, just to talk, now you two are back.

Maria: What sort of things did this girl tell you?

Clyde: She’s called Tanya, and she says she was brought back to life. She said she remembered getting her neck snapped by some kind of statue of some form.

Maria: A statue? This sounds right up our alley.

Luke: It’s nearly 10’O Clock. Can we please just have a reasonably quiet night?

Maria: This Tanya girl could need our help. I’m suprised she didn’t recognise Clyde and Rani from the news, but she could know who we are, and she could need our help. If there are evil forces, I don’t think she’ll be able to defeat them alone.

Clyde: Sarah Jane always managed to defeat these kind of threats on her own.

Maria: But that was Sarah Jane. She was special. And she’d met the Doctor. I don’t think this Tanya girl would have met the Doctor. I think we should go and find her.

Rani: She should still be at the scene of the explosion at Cole Hill Academy.

Maria: We need to find out who or what is responsible for the explosion.

Luke: Please, Rani and Clyde are back and I just want to spend some quality time with them. Them being back is everything I wanted and I just want a quiet night.

Clyde: I mean, we’re the ones who have been involved with Tanya, so me and Rani can go while you two stay here. We can have a normal day tomorrow, okay.

Maria: I guess I should stay here. Call us if you need any back up.

Clyde: How? Don’t you have a new phone number by now?

Luke: I kept my old phone number, just in case you ever called back.

Clyde: Oh you are such a true friend. Even though it’s only been two hours as well as five years since I last saw you, I have missed you more than you would believe.

Luke: You have no idea how much we have missed you, Clyde. Now get going and find out exactly what aliens or creatures this Tanya has involvement in.

Charlie, Nigel, Daniel and Georgia crawl out of a hole which ends up outside Coal Hill.

Charlie: That’s such a coincidence! This is Coal Hill! This is my old school! I can’t believe you’ve got me back exactly where I needed to be (Turns around). What the fuck happened here? I don’t believe it. The whole school has just…

Daniel: What the hell happened to this place? It’s just rubble.

Georgia: Why did we have to come here anyway?

Daniel: We’ll be home soon, once we figure out what the hell happened.

Charlie: This must be the doing of the Governors. The Governors must still be out there, and I think you three should help me and my friends stop them. If my friends are still alive, that is. I have no idea. I have no idea whether they’re safe or not.

Daniel: Well we’ll find that out in due course. And of course we’ll help you defeat these Governor people. And we want to find those Angel things that brought us to that damn hospital and slaughter them all in the most painful way we can.

Nigel: You said you had friends? Do you know whereabouts they are?

Charlie: If they’re still alive then they should be here, around the school grounds. I’m not sure whether the Governors have kept them alive or whether they’ve sent them away somewhere using the angels or disposed of them in some way.

Georgia: And your friends could be useful in order to destroy the Governors?

Charlie: Oh of course. We make a good team, if I say so myself.

Tanya, Ram and Matteusz spot Charlie.

Ram: Look it’s Charlie! Oh my god it’s Charlie! How good it is to see you!

Tanya: Well, I beg to differ but this is definitely a surprise.

Charlie: Tanya, Ram, Matteusz! I’d like you to meet-

Daniel pokes a needle into him and the three patients drag him back through the door they came out of leading to the hospital.

Ram: What happened? Where have they taken him?

Matteusz: They went through some kind of gateway, but it seems to have vanished.

A weeping angel appears from behind of Ram. The three of them scream in terror. The weeping angel touches Ram, and he vanishes.
